2007 INTERNATIONAL BEARD-OFF - LJ EDITION




Last year's longest-lasting finalist; tied for 1st place.

GENTLEMAN (and ladies, if you want), START YOUR FACES!!

Starting Tuesday, October 9, 2007, post a picture of your fleshly-shorn face in my LJ. From that point until December 31, 2007 (and beyond for the REAL men, or women) will be the duration of the contest.

Contestants will be judged on: growth, fullness, and style.

With that being said...

you have a baby [beard] face...so weeeeird. Actually the beard is very impressive as far as thickness/density is concerned - just seems so incongruous with the rest of your face.

look at you - jumping on the funny express. that's ok, though, i can brush off the insults just as quick as i can brush off that peach fuzz you call a beard. i wish you lived closer so we could do a staredown. that would pwn. actually, take a solid sideview pic of yourself and i'll do one of me and make a main event poster.

I can't grow a beard. If I tried to grow it out, I'd look like a cross between a twelve year old Chinaman and a catfish. Still though, I think I'd rather be sparse on the bottom than sparse on top. Right, Jake?

Speaking of going bald, I think your beard would look cooler if you had less hair on top. You've got too much spillage and it makes the beard look less majestic.

You guys need to agree to a judging panel or something too. I volunteer to be a part of it. I have to warn you though - in the event of a tie, we'll immediately default to Beard Feats Of Strength.

In other news, I see no reason to report to work today since your gif's funny obviously fractured the universe.
